Teri O’Connor is the founder of Altus Consulting Group. She brings more than 38 years of experience working with employers on retirement plans and the decisions that surround them. Teri remains actively involved in client strategy, retirement plan consulting, and business development while also leading the firm’s vision, team, and day-to-day operations.
Her work has always centered on helping businesses design plans intentionally, manage them consistently and ensure they continue to support both the organization and its employees over time.
Teri holds the AIF and CPFA designations, reflecting her commitment to maintaining strong fiduciary standards and clear processes. Her approach is guided by a simple principle: do the right thing for the client every time, often before the client even realizes it needs to be done.
Teri believes in building real relationships with clients and takes pride in leading a firm that stays engaged, remains accountable, and delivers consistent support over time.
Outside of her work with clients and the firm, Teri and her husband Jim enjoy traveling and spending time with their grandkids.
